Native American Graduation Celebration
Purpose
Did you know that Native American students have the highest post-secondary dropout rate? One contributing factor is not having a sense of belonging or visibility on college campuses. The Office of Tribal Relations is working to create that belonging and visibility by acknowledging our students educational milestones and accomplishments. We want to honor our Native American students who are graduating. Our celebration not only includes Chico State Native American college graduates, but Native American community college and Native American high school graduates. Students receive a traditional sash for their achievement.

Deadline to apply for college: Friday, March 22, 2024
Deadline to apply for high school: Friday, February 23, 2024
-You must be registered in order to participate
-Registration and participation are required in order to receive a graduation sash
-The contact email listed on the registration form is the email that will be used for all
communications regarding Native Grad
-Late registrations may not be accepted
