American Indian Studies

Multicultural and Gender Studies (MCGS) prepares students for a diverse workplace and society by providing knowledge, skill, and strategies for appreciating and understanding cultural practices, contributions, identities, and gender roles.

All programs include research and hands-on experiences that help students make connections between scholarship and activism.

The American Indian Studies Minor focuses on the history, literature, worldviews, social practices, and legal issue of Indian tribes.
