CFA Strike - Student and Employee Information
Strike Canceled, CFA and CSU Reach Tentative Agreement

Last night, we got the terrific news that CFA and CSU have reached an agreement, which means the end of strike activity, the resumption of classes, and a complete start to the spring semester.
Having said that, I understand the past couple of weeks have not been easy for our students or employees. The uncertainty and stress have certainly taken a toll. Furthermore, the late-night timing of the agreement and the after-hours messages that students and employees received did not leave much time for them to adjust their schedules.
I ask each of us to be patient and flexible with each other as we ramp back up. If you are a student who scheduled an extra work shift, needs to arrange for childcare, or has not yet come back to Chico, please reach out to your instructors. I'm sure they will be understanding and will work with you.
