I'm Mari (Marifren) Francisco. I’m a first-generation, undergraduate student in the School of Nursing’s BSN program with a Spanish minor. I was originally born in Japan, but was raised in the East Bay Area and Hanford, CA!
My time at Chico State has been a great adventure, connecting me with non-profits (CAVE and Center for Healthy Communities), cultural clubs, nursing clubs, and dance teams. As the president of United in Nursing via Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, I'm excited to guide others with my experience. From creating reliable study habits to providing moral support, I'm happy to help!
If I’m not studying, you can find me choreographing for Momentum Dance Team, working out at the WREC, playing video games, or even skating. You might also find me hanging out with my loyal companions, Ryker (dog) and Milo (parrot)!
