Hi, my name is Lucia Martinez. I am a graduate student currently studying nutrition education in the Nutrition and Food Science Program at Chico State. I wanted to attend grad school because I wanted to further my education, and I believe that it will make me a better professional and open more doors for me.
To anyone, who is thinking about applying to graduate school, I would say that the whole process of attending graduate school seems overwhelming at first, but you won't regret applying to grad school.
I love what Adelante stands for and all that this program does to ensure that students are successful. I wish this program existed when I was completing my undergraduate degree, and I could have used that support. However, I am so happy that I can be part of it now and help other students be successful.
