Hi Everyone! My name is Ana Pompa and I am a graduate student studying Nutrition Education. I was born and raised in Borland which is a small town not too far from Chico.

I decided to attend grad school because I wanted to continue my education and gain more knowledge and experience in my field as I continue to pursue my career goals.

To someone thinking about applying to grad school, I would say to really get to know the program coordinators. They can help answer all of your questions and even provide you with resources about financial or research opportunities.

I decided to join the Adelante team because I wanted to help others pursue their goals and help increase the amount of Latinx students that pursue degrees past their bachelor’s.
