RN-BSN Program

Welcome to the School of Nursing RN-BSN Program at Chico State!

Are you looking for rewarding work that is dynamic and challenging, with opportunities to enhance your nursing career and become a leader in your field? You can make a difference in the health care field! The health care community needs YOU.

Since 1954 the RN to BSN Advanced Placement Nursing Program through Chico State has offered a pathway for registered nurses (RNs) who have completed an Associated Degree in Nursing (ADN) program to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Chico State's RN-BSN Program uses online delivery methods to make it as flexible and accessible as possible. Our program serves the most distant areas of our rural region and helps registered nurses reach their advanced educational and career goals in health care. This exciting program is designed to help meet the ever-growing need for quality health care through highly skilled baccalaureate-prepared registered nurses. As leaders and change agents, our RN-BSN graduates positively impact a wide range of health care settings and make a difference in people’s lives by promoting and preserving the health of individuals, families, and communities.
