WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS IF YOU ARE ACCUSED OF A CRIME?

Due process protections for the criminally accused represent an oft celebrated touchstone of the Constitution: no illegal search and seizure, the right to remain silent, the right to an attorney, etc. Three expert panelists with experience on the criminal defense side of the law will discuss these issues:

Maitreya Badami: Assistant Professor of Legal Studies at Chico State, and Supervising Attorney with the Community Legal Information Clinic (CLIC).

Anthony Cardoza: Partner at Peters, Habib, McKenna, Juhl-Rhodes & Cardoza, LLP and Lecturer in Legal Studies at Chico State.

Davis Hewitt: Founder of Davis W. Hewitt Law Office, former public defender, and Lecturer in Legal Studies at Chico State
