Vincent Ornelas

Vincent Ornelas is a tenured faculty member who joined the School of Social Work in 2004 and since then has served as the BSW Program Director for the School of Social Work for over ten years. Outside of the School, Dr. Ornelas remains active with California Faculty Association, the Chicano/Latino Council of CSUC and various community based groups and endeavors addressing homelessness, and the special needs of children and adults with various disabilities. Dr. Ornelas has chosen to participate Wildcat Thrives because he believes there is more to University life than endless reams of paperwork and given the right resources students, staff and faculty can find balance even during the challenging times we all find ourselves in.
