Sexual Assault
What we are taught about sexual assault and what sexual assault looks like in our communities, friendships, families, and relationships are often very different pictures. Sexual assault can take many different forms; any sexual contact or behavior that occurs without consent is considered sexual assault.
You are not alone.
1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men are sexually assaulted while in college (National Sexual Violence Resource Center, 2015).
If you or a friend have experienced sexual assault, then there are many options for you on and off campus. Schedule an appointment with a confidential advocate to discuss your options, receive emotional support, and to discuss academic or housing accommodations if necessary.
