Student Health Center

Welcome to the Student Health Center

The Student Health Center (SHC) is here to ensure that our students will have a healthy and successful experience while attending CSU Chico.  The SHC can provide limited outpatient health services for acute, sub-acute illness, minor injuries and transitional care for chronic issues during weekdays. SHC services include basic medical care, limited mental health care, preventative care, health education, contraception, STI treatment, travel medicine and immunizations with the support of an onsite lab, pharmacy and x-ray services.

For non emergent care you may also go to Enloe Prompt Care located at 560 Cohasset Rd, Chico CA, 95926 
or call 530-332-4111, open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Appointments

Please arrive 15 minutes early to an appointment. Patients who arrive late to their appointment may have their appointment canceled and given to next available patient.

Bring your student ID with you so you may access our automated kiosks in the reception area.  If there is a lengthy line please head to the front of the line and let the receptionist know you have an appointment.

Self Care After Loss

For Crisis Counseling, please call the Counseling and Wellness Center at 530-898-6345 (after 5pm, phone counseling is still available through this number).

If you would prefer to text, you may text "HOME" to 741741. During evenings, weekends, holidays, and vacation breaks when the Counseling Center is not open, the Butte County Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day at 1-800-334-6622.
