The Campus Advising Collaborative meetings facilitate advising-related information sharing across units to ensure efficiency and collaboration. We aim to provide faculty and staff advisors a venue to discuss advising pedagogy, proven student success strategies, and identify professional development opportunities. Your participation and voice are vital in this partnership.
Please SAVE THE DATE for the meetings taking place this academic year. We have strategically scheduled these meetings during key times during the student life cycle. Prior to each meeting, agenda items and departmental updates will be solicited.
We look forward to collaboratively working with staff and faculty advisors to serve our students and their advising needs.

There are many committees on campus that academic advisors could benefit from joining. Reach out to your supervisor to identify an opportunity best suited to your skills, interests, and availability.
Strong, professional relationships between faculty, retention specialists, and academic advisors allow for a more seamless advising experience for all students. Each plays an important and complementary role in students’ intellectual and academic exploration. Get to know your advising liaison or ask your supervisor about serving in a liaison role.
