Cross-Cultural Leadership Center

Sirena Rios

Cultural Program Coordinator

Sirena is a first-generation and second-year student, majoring in business administration: entrepreneurship, communication design (minor), and a professional sale (cert). She was born in Upland, CA, and raised in Bakersfield. The first event that Sirena attended was Mexican Independence Day where she saw her first opportunity to work at the center. Once she took an intern flier, she proceeded with the process, got hired, and became part of the CCLC family. Since then, she found her home away from home in the center and has been continuously working to get more involved. Sirena will return as a Cultural Program Coordinator in the Fall 2023.

Sirena hopes to release her brand to spread positivity into poverty areas where she feels the most light must be shined on those individuals. Through her work at the CCLC, she will create programs to help implement those ideas in high schools.

During her time off from school, she loves to focus on herself and her alone time, spending time at the gym. She enjoys listening to music and creating new things for her to do, her heart beats with the passion for creating success for herself, her family, and her community.
