Lab Day Modules
Each Lab Day field trip includes two of the modules below of your choosing. Lab Day field trips do not include time spent in the exhibits.

Students will learn to identify whether an animal is an herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore through examining the teeth of animal skulls. Students will learn how the animals’ teeth are specially suited for their different diets.

Students will understand how electricity works and the importance of it to our everyday lives. Students will learn how to create a circuit with different electrical materials.
Let’s dive into the topic of water and its importance to our ecosystem.
Students will investigate how much water is used to produce various fruits and vegetables.
Volcanoes are such a hot topic!
Students will learn about the anatomy of a volcano, how an eruption happens, and the different types of volcanoes. Students will be able to create a chemical reaction to simulate a volcanic eruption.
