We are hiring a Marketing & Research Coordinator!

We are looking for someone to fill our marketing and reasearch coordinator position starting in Fall 2021! Applications are due 6/15/2021!

This paid position manages creating our posters and designs for our branding, including buttons, flyers, etc. This positions coordinates with the interns to make sure they are meeting their social media requirements (podcast, blogs, etc.). With that, this position also manages all of our social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and our podcast to name a few. You will also be responsible for keeping track of all the semester elevations from our presentations, and combine them to the end of the year research report. 

20 hours/week

Intern with UMatter!

The UMatter internship is an opportunity to be a positive role model on campus and to gain valuable experience. All majors and class standings are welcome to apply. Some majors offer credit for internships, and some even require them. UMatter can be a great way to fulfill those credits!

What to Expect:

  • Create and give presentations on mental health topics you are passionate about
  • Flexible hours that range from 6 to 20 hours a week (You're a student first!)
    • Credit and non-credit internships available!
  • Gain professional development through provided trainings (e.g. Safe Zone Ally training, Mental Health First Aid, Wildcat ROAR)
    • Weekly Team Meetings on Mondays from 4–6 p.m.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of UMatter events and programs
  • Assist in advertising for events (e.g., student announcements, social media, poster design, etc.)

  • Your current resume
  • A short letter of intent explaining why you would like to intern for UMatter
  • A short video (i.e., 2—5 minutes) using a program like YouTube, Vimeo, Kizoa, or Slidely explaining why mental health is important and what it means to you. Use pictures and/or music, be creative, and have fun with it!
