Intern with UMatter!

The UMatter internship is an opportunity to be a positive role model on campus and to gain invaluable experience. All majors and class standings are welcome to apply. Some majors offer credit for internships, and some even require them. UMatter can be a great way to fulfill those credits!

What to Expect:

  • Create and give presentations on mental health topics you are passionate about
  • Flexible hours that range from 6 to 20 hours a week (You're a student first!)
    • Credit and non-credit internships available!
  • Gain professional development through provided trainings (e.g. Safe Zone Ally training, Mental Health First Aid, Wildcat ROAR)
    • Weekly Team Meetings on Mondays from 4–6 p.m.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of UMatter events and programs
  • Assist in advertising for events (e.g., student announcements, social media, poster design, etc.)
