Chico State Autism Clinic Receives Gift

Locally owned company Cleanrite Buildrite, and dozens of sponsors raise funds for the Autism Clinic and The Yellow Door (a local organization), through the “Driving Fore Autism” golf tournament held each summer at Butte Creek Country Club.

This year $13,000 was donated to the two programs to provide therapy and conduct research, fund grants for special education teachers, and meet the needs of children with ASD and their families.

The Chico State Autism Clinic, founded in 2005, promotes motor skill acquisition and social interactions of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a sensory rich environment. Each week the clinic serves over 60 families through individual and small group sessions.
