The Office of Faculty Development

NCFDD

We are excited to announce an Institutional Membership with the NCFDD(opens in new window) for the 2023-2024 academic year. This project was made possible by strong advocacy by a group of faculty from the 2023 BIPOC Faculty Learning Community. Sponsorship of the program was a collaboration of the California Faculty Association, The Office of the Provost, and Faculty Development. We believe this membership is part of making our mutual commitments to equity, diversity and inclusion a reality and urge you to take a few minutes to create an account and explore the resources available.

The NCFDD is an independent faculty development center dedicated to supporting academics in making successful transitions throughout their careers. By becoming an Institutional Member, all faculty, and graduate students at Chico State have access to the following member resources at no additional cost:

  • Weekly Monday Motivator
  • Monthly Core Curriculum Webinars
  • Monthly Guest Expert Webinars
  • Access to Multi-Week Courses
  • Access to Dissertation Success Curriculum for graduate students
  • Private Discussion Forum for peer-mentoring, problem-solving, & moderated writing challenges
  • Monthly accountability buddy matches
  • Access to 14-Day Writing Challenges
  • Access to the Member Library that includes past webinar materials, referrals, and readings
