Lizbeth

Orientation Leader

Year - Junior

Major - Public Health

W-Wildcat Moment: My proudest moment was the day I accepted my offer to Chico State because I knew it was the first step towards higher education. It was very rewarding because my parents gave me the opportunity to a new life here in the United States.

I-Involvement: I am the current president of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc, and I hold the position of VP of Communications in the Multicultural Greek Council. I am a member of the Pre-Medical Association and Health Professional Association.

L-Live: My hometown is Highland, CA, which is a small city located in San Bernardino County.

D-Degree: I am pursuing a Public Health degree with a double minor in child development and health and wellness.

C-Chico: I chose Chico because of the nature aspect that the campus has during the fall time. I don’t get to see the seasons change back home. Originally, I was a pre-nursing major so I was interested in being in the program.

A-Aspirations: My dreams for the future is to earn my PhD degree in Public Health, travel Latin America, and be financially stable to maintain my family.

T-Tell: My name was originally going to be Anay but my mom ended up switching my name last minute. Now that name is my sister’s.
