New Student Orientation & Transition Programs

Distance Education

Students admitted to the Chico State Distance and Online Education(opens in new window) program are encouraged to attend virtual orientation. Orientation will further support students in their transition to the university by providing initial academic advising on course requirements, course registration support for fall classes, meet current students in the program, and learn how to thrive in an online learning environment. There will also be time for students to ask questions about the transition to college, all in a virtual format.
