Academic Advising Programs

Accessibility Resource Center (ARC)
The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) works to ensure compliance with applicable ADA laws and policies. ARC determines eligibility and accommodations for qualified students and advocates for accessibility in all aspects of campus life.

Basic Needs
The mission of Chico State Basic Needs is to improve student success and positively engage the community through the provision of healthy food, emergency grants, financial wellness education, rapid re-housing, public health and wellness programming for students experiencing food insecurity, hunger, disasters, unstable housing, homelessness and poverty.
CalFresh Outreach
CalFresh is like financial aid, but for food! Eligible students can get money every month for groceries, making it easier to eat well on a budget. Our campus CalFresh office is here to guide you through the application process and answer questions, so you don’t miss out on support.
Career Center & Student Employment
The Career Center at CSU Chico supports students and alumni throughout their entire career journey—offering guidance on part-time jobs, internships, and post-graduation plans through personalized advising, resources, and recruiting events. It serves as a comprehensive hub for career development both during college and beyond.
Cross-Cultural Leadership Center

Come learn about Chico State’s Cross-Cultural Leadership Center and Affinity Resource Centers.  The CCLC is a space where students can celebrate culture and diversity.  Our new Affinity Resource Centers goal is to support and retain students of diverse backgrounds while giving them a space to grow.  We hope you find a home away from home in our spaces.

Dream Center

The Chico State Dream Center is a dedicated student success and resource hub for all students, focusing on supporting undocumented students and those from mixed-status immigrant families. We provide advocacy, resources, and programs that promote access to education, foster student success, and enhance well-being

First-Year Experience (FYE)
Chico State's First-Year Experience is here to help you through the transition from high school or community college to your Wildcat Era. We support courses and campus events that help students explore their identities and interests, develop successful skills and habits, and develop close connections with peers and faculty.
Graduate Studies
The Office of Graduate Studies provides support to undergraduates to explore graduate education, to determine whether it is needed for your career goals, and to assist students with information, resources, and support to prepare, find funding, and apply to graduate or professional programs.
IEGE - Study Abroad & Exchange

PATH Scholars (Foster Youth Program)
PATH Scholars serves students with experiences in foster care and/or unaccompanied homeless (as minors). This voluntary program provides social, financial & academic support and resources essential to their success. Only 4% of former foster youth will obtain a bachelor's degree. Accordingly, we are dedicated to empowering this unique and extraordinary student community.
Project Rebound
Project Rebound is a support program that provides wrap around services for formally incarcerated and system involved students.
Recreational Sports
Recreational Sports provides structured recreation and sports services for the Chico State community through engaging programs such as Intramurals, Sport Clubs, and The Wildcat Gaming Lobby.
Student Financial Services (SFIN)
We’re your campus money team—but not the Financial Aid Office. We handle tuition payments, apply financial aid once it’s awarded, process waivers, and coordinate military and third-party benefits. Think of us as the place that helps you manage and pay your charges after financial aid is determined

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) empowers first-generation, low-income, and/or students living with a documented disability to achieve academic success.
