Chico State Game Studios

Chico State Game Studios was founded out of the CAGD Department and publishes student-made games from a variety of classes each semester. To learn about each of these classes and the games that they make, see the all the different items below!

CAGD 495

In CAGD 495, students work in groups of 10-15 to produce high quality work over the duration of a semester. Over the years, the structure of the class has shifted and evolved, but the core themes of collaboration and freedom of expression have stayed constant.

CAGD 470

In 470, students work in groups of four to hone their development skills and gain a hands-on understanding of the game development process.

CAGD 377

In 377, students work in groups of 3-4 to make mobile games. This gives them an understanding of +1 design philosophy, as well as experience working on a variety of hardware platforms.
