The College of Communication and Education (CME) is eternally grateful for the generous support of individuals, corporations, and foundations whose scholarship contributions help foster our tradition of excellent student performance, outstanding faculty, and award-winning programs.

CME awards more than 100 student scholarships each year.  To be qualified for scholarships students must complete a Wildcat Scholarship Application.  To be eligible for need-based scholarships students need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)(opens in new window) or the California Dream Application(opens in new window).

College of Communication and Education Academic and Performance Scholarships

If you intend to declare one of the College of Communication and Education majors and if your high school or community college GPA is 3.0 or higher, we invite you to apply for our Academic and Performance Scholarship by March 1, 2021. The scholarship is a minimum of $1,500 award and is offered to high achieving incoming freshmen or transfer students who are attending CSU, Chico for the first time in the fall of 2021.  If awarded a scholarship, you will receive half the award the fall semester, and if you maintain at least a 3.00 GPA, the remaining half the following spring semester.
