Salary Increases for State Employees

Academic Professionals of California (APC – Unit 4)

  • 5% General Salary Increase (GSI) effective July 1, 2024 has been applied to the individual salary rates of eligible employees. An employee must have been on active pay status or on leave in a UAPD position as of July 1, 2024 to be eligible for the 2024/2025 GSI. This base salary increase will be incorporated into the January 2025 paycheck (January 31, 2025 issue date). The retroactive portion (July 2024 – December 2024) of the salary increase will issue on a separate check.

Please contact your Payroll Technician if you have not received your increase or retroactive payment by February 28th.

UAPD (Unit 1), MPP/C99, CSUEU (Unit 2, 5, 7 and 9), CFA (Unit 3), SUPA (Unit 8) and UAW (Unit 11)

Payroll has reconciled and has worked with State Controller’s Office (SCO) to resolve identified issues with some CSUEU, CFA, SUPA and UAW 2024/2025 GSI payments. There are two locations are available to view 2024/2025 retroactive pay increases for UAPD, MPP/C99, CSUEU, CFA, SUPA and UAW employees.

  1. Cal Employee Connect (CEC) – Use this to view your retroactive payments by pay period.
  2. View Compensation History in Campus Portal – Use this to view your salary increase, the reason for the change, the effective date of the increase and the gross amount prior to and after the change.
