PeopleSoft Human Resources (HR) administrative user inclusion in Duo
Summary
Administrative users of the PeopleSoft HR application will be included in the 2-step authentication group currently utilizing Duo to access campus systems authenticating through Shibboleth. This project includes communicating and preparing PeopleSoft HR administrative users for enrollment into the group. Once enrolled into the group, a user is asked to complete a 2-step process for logging into all applications included within 2-step authentication umbrella.
Individuals who have access to the Common Financial System (CFS) have already been added to the group. For individuals already utilizing Duo the change will include having the PeopleSoft HR application included within the group of applications requiring 2-step authentication.
Project Timeline
- Users with access to Level 1 data must self-enroll no later than October 31, 2018
- All Administrative PeopleSoft users must self-enroll no later than December 31, 2018
- New users will self-enroll during training beginning September 2018
