New Navigation Options & More
The overall look of pages throughout the Human Resources modules remains similar for the majority of campus users. Additional navigation options and search display functionality will provide users with broader options for navigation and more efficient search results.
Additional navigation option with breadcrumbs
In addition to the left navigation menu available in version 8.9, version 9.0 also provides a navigation option at the top of the page. Even when navigating to a page through a search or favorite, breadcrumbs appear in this top navigation to show the location of the active page. Blue drop-down arrows indicate the navigation level has additional content available. This new top navigation is faster than the left panel navigation because only the name is displayed rather than the name and a description. In addition, the top navigation allows for searching through the menu while remaining on an active page.
