Ways to Support the College

Gifts can be given at a college level or specified for each department, programs within our departments, or to our centers and museums.

Gifts of Cash

These have an immediate and direct impact on our ability to further our goals and achieve our objective. You can make a donation using a credit card on our secure website or sending a check to our Development Office.

Pledges

Pledges allow you to fulfill a commitment over a two-to-five year period and afford us the ability to plan and implement programs with confidence.

Gifts of Equipment and Collections

The hands-on educational experience for which our college is known is greatly enhanced through gifting us vehicles to use for field research, collections to aid in teaching, or new or used equipment for our programs and laboratories. You may contact our development office for more information on what in-kind gifts we may be able to accept.

Deferred or Planned Gifts

These may allow you to reap tax advantages and an income stream now, while enjoying the knowledge that your assets will one day benefit the College of Natural Sciences. These gifts can take many forms and include life income gifts, charitable lead trusts, wealth replacement trusts, life estate agreements, and life insurance contracts. Of course, these gifts should be made in the context of your overall estate plan.
