Determining Payment Type
Is the payment to assist with qualified educational expenses related to the enrolled student's degree-seeking or Teaching Credential program? Qualified educational expenses include tuition, course-related books, and mandatory campus, course, and/or user fees.
For CSE Grant Funded Loan payments, please email csecontracts@csuchico.edu and copy your Sponsored Program analyst for assistance.
Click No if payment falls under one of the following:
- Can assist the enrolled student with other expenses* incurred in the pursuit of education as an enrolled Chico State student
- A prize or award
- Reimbursement for travel under an accountable plan
- Compensation for work
*Examples of other expenses that a typical Chico State student may incur include:
- Food and housing (on-campus or off-campus)
- Computer/computer equipment
- Miscellaneous personal expenses
- Supplies (ordinary supplies such as pens, paper, copies, etc)
- Transportation (travel to/from Chico State each semester, commuting to/from campus daily, local travel for students living on-campus, or travel to lab/research sites off campus)
