The Chico State Chicano/Latino Council (CLC) has managed La Bienvenida since the early 1990s, with support from various sponsors. This welcome reception for new Latinx students, faculty, administrators and staff brings the Latinx community together every year, acquainting everyone with campus departments, support organizations, music, food, Latinx culture, raffle prizes, friendly faces and equitable resources.
This interactive annual event will be held during Hispanic Heritage Month next fall during September 2025. There will be free food, resources & raffle prizes! Hope to see you there.
