This event will be a lively discussion of our educational system from the perspective of two American Indian educators with a combined 71 years of teaching experience. From the elementary environment to the high school level, racism is a systematic process that stymies the world of public and private education. Some issues that will be considered are: boarding schools, mascots, textbooks, curriculum and history/culture. We look forward to a discussion that will promote an alliance for a more inclusive educational system promoting a life-long path to diversity, equality and inclusion.

This is a hybrid event; you can join via Zoom or in person. If you would like to join us in person (Butte 101) for a WATCH PARTY with pizza, please RSVP here. If you are joining via Zoom, there is no need to RSVP or register.
