Ready, Set, Enroll

Open enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to evaluate and make necessary changes to your benefit programs. It is an opportune time to view health costs and plan changes and decide what best fits your needs. If you do nothing, your medical, dental, and vision enrollment will continue into the 2020 plan year.

What You Need to Review

What You Need to Know

What's New for 2020

Nationwide - Pet Insurance

Nationwide is offering two benefit options for your pets.  This insurance can cover your pet's accidents, illness and even preventative care and wellness services.  Plans are available for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and exotics (such as reptiles).  To Learn more about this volunteer plan and/or to enroll, visit Nationwide(opens in new window).

Critical Illness - Coming in early 2020

The new vendor for Group Critical Illness Insurance (formerly Aflac) is now The Standard, which provides a lump-sum payment to cover out-of-pocket medical expenses and costs associated with life changes following the diagnosis of a covered critical illness. Aflac will no longer be enrolling new participants in the Critical Illness plan. Employees currently enrolled in Aflac's coverage can transfer to the new coverage with The Standard or stay with Aflac via direct pay. More information will be provided at a later date.

Accident Insurance - Coming in early 2020

This insurance, provided by the Standard, can help with out-of-pocket expenses such as deductibles, copays, transportation to medical centers, and more. The Standard is the new vendor for both Critical Illness and Accident Insurance, and a special enrollment period will be held for both options in early 2020.

If you have a specific question about a plan’s coverage, benefits, or participating providers, please contact the plan directly.
