Schedule Building

The Class Schedule(opens in new window)  is an online publication maintained by Academic Publications and Scheduling Services (APSS).  

The Class Schedule web page contains information regarding:

  • Class scheduling for past, current, and future (tentative) semesters
  • Student registration processes and registration dates
  • Various attributes, requirements and requisites for each class
  • Important registration activities dates and deadlines

The Class Schedule Build

The Class Schedule build is a process through which departments schedule and modify classes to be offered for the semester, and assign rooms and instructors to those classes. This enables students to register for classes using the PeopleSoft system and provides the data for the Web Schedule.

Room Information

  • Academic Facilities Set-up & Photos  Information about each lecture and lab room arrangement and photos of each room.

  • Mediated Classrooms  Link to ATEC site for a list of mediated classrooms and the equipment available in those rooms.

  • Jumbo rooms (PDF)   List of academic classrooms with a capacity of 50 or more. All rooms are mediated ("smart").

  • Lecture rooms (PDF)   List of academic classrooms with a capacity of 49 or less. All rooms are mediated ("smart").


Guides and Tips

  • Changing a Class Meeting Pattern Link to information about Changing a Class Meeting Pattern and/or Mode of Instruction (MOI). NOTE: APSS no longer needs to be informed about changes and there is no form to complete, but please follow your college's process for obtaining dean's approval and please keep students apprised of changes once registration has begun for a term.

  • Canceling a class: APSS does not need to be informed about class cancellations. Please follow your college's procedure for canceling a course, and document Dean's approval; remember to notify the students with their options.
