Two Chico State graduate students were selected recipients of the highly esteemed Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholar Award for the 2023-2024 academic year:
- Recamier Jauregui-Ocampo (MA, Psychology)
- Arely Saldana (MA, Psychology)
Arely Saldana (MA, Psychology) is an Adelante Outreach Coordinator and incoming president of the Adelante Club, as well as president-elect of the Council of Graduate Students.
Recamier Jauregui-Ocampo (MA, Psychology) was a recipient of the Adelante Summer Research Award in the summer of 2023.
This remarkable achievement highlights the outstanding academic dedication and potential of our graduate students and Adelante program participants.
