Online Professional Development for Student Employees
Student employees (e.g., student assistant, work study, ISA, GA, TA, etc.) have access to CSU Learn filled with hundreds of online training opportunities and a wide variety of topics.
Below are few examples of what you can find in CSU Learn, including a wide variety of skills you will use on the job – and wherever you land after graduation.
- Compliance Training
Before beginning other trainings, please ensure you have completed your employee compliance training in CSU Learn. The campus training site provides FAQ’s and guides for CSU Learn. Be sure to glance through the site before logging in to CSU Learn.

Note: if you work for Chico State Enterprises or Associated Students, please contact their human resources departments to determine compliance training you should complete.
Supervisors can check if employees are compliant using the Reports for Managers and Leads.
Student Employees & Employee Email Accounts
In compliance with EM 16-004(opens in new window), the Account Center automatically creates employee email (Exchange) accounts for all student employees*. This “Exchange” email account receives official employee information, including notices to complete required compliance training.
Student employees may elect to redirect (i.e., auto-forward) these messages to their student WildcatMail account.

*Exchange email accounts are assigned to CSU, Chico (state) student employees, as well as all Chico State Enterprises and some Associated Student student employees.
