Presentations
WellCat Prevention has a variety of educational presentations that can be utilized by student organizations, clubs, or classes. Wildcats ROAR Series
The Wildcats ROAR Series includes five separate 90-minute presentations. Each presentation covers basic knowledge regarding each substance, risks associated, tips for staying safe, and resources available on campus and in our community. Wildcats ROAR Series topics include:
- Alcohol
- Nicotine
- Cannabis
- Prescription Drugs
- How to Help a Friend
Wildcats ACT (Alcohol & Consent Training)
This training is presented in partnership with Safe Place. This interactive presentation goes over affirmative consent and alcohol basics, including how to be an active bystander in real life scenarios. This presentation is an hour in length. This service will be offered via video and will be provided in-person in Fall 2022.
Trivia
Trivia is a highly interactive game that educates participants on the risks associated with drugs and alcohol. Participants use their phones to answer questions and compete with their peers to get the highest score.
AlcoholEdu® for College
As part of our alcohol and drug prevention program, each new student is required to complete the mandatory AlcoholEdu® for College on-line program. AlcoholEdu® for College is a two-part, online evidence-based, non-judgmental prevention and education program.

21st Birthday Cards
Awareness Weeks
Each year, WellCat Prevention recognizes a variety of awareness weeks on campus. These weeklong events are comprised of tabling, events and workshops with the aim of educating students on various topics relating to the theme.
Theme weeks include:
- National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (every October)
- Safe Spring Break (the week before Spring Break)
- Prescription Drug Awareness Week (mid April)
