Upward Bound Projects

Upward Bound Alumni Association

The inception of the Upward Bound Alumni Association began in 1992 by the founder of the organization, Victor Bass, a 1990 alumni of the Upward Bound Projects.

The purpose of the UBAA is to provide its members with both an academic and social atmosphere that will enhance their college experience. The UBAA provides academic support, community service, and social activities for its members. Also, UBAA collaborates with the Upward Bound Projects in a number of activities, such as academic workshops for current Upward Bound high school students.

To be a member of UBAA, you must be currently enrolled at CSU Chico, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and you must be a former Upward Bound participant from any Upward Bound Program.
