Adventure Day Camp
Ages
Our full day camp is designed for children grades 1–6. The groups are created according to grade level and are in a 10:1 camper/counselor ratio for 1st and 2nd grades, 10:1 for children grades 3 and 4, and 10:1 for grades 5 and 6. All activities are developmentally appropriate and vary so that each child is able to experience all of the activities.
Staffing
"Best Counselors in Chico." Our camp leaders and counselors bring a variety of skills and experiences to the camp in an effort to provide the best possible camp experience. All of our camp leaders are CPR/AED/First Aid certified, Livescanned, and Mandated Reporters. We strive to hire individuals who aspire to work in a youth related field.
Camp Schedules
All camps are 4 days in length (Monday-Thursday) and are scheduled throughout the month of June and July. Many of our most popular activities will repeat from week to week. Campers can expect to participate in high-energy games, climbing and some arts/crafts projects. Our focus is on participation and teamwork, not competition.

- June 15-17 / Max enrollment 30 campers / $175 per week (*Mon-Weds. = Juneteenth Holiday)
- June 22-25 / Max enrollment 30 campers / $205 per week
- July 6-9 / Max enrollment 60 campers / $205 per week
- July 13-16 / Max enrollment 60 campers / $205 per week
- July 20-23 / Max enrollment 60 campers / $205 per week
A Typical Full Day Camp
- 7:30–9 a.m. - Drop off/Supervised play
- 9–9:30 a.m. - Morning Circle/Meet and Greet
- 9:30–9:45 a.m. - Activity
- 9:45-10 a.m. - Change for Swimming
- 10:15-11:30 a.m. - Swimming
- 11:30–11:45 a.m. - Change from Swim
- 11:45 a.m.–Noon - Morning recap
- Noon–1:00 p.m. - Lunch
- 1:15–2 p.m. - Activity
- 2–2:45 p.m. - Activity
- 2:45–3 p.m. - Snack
- 3–3:45 p.m. - Activity
- 3:45–4:45 p.m. - Activity
- 4:45–5:30 p.m. - Clean up/Pick up begins
Drop–Off/Pick–Up
Drop-Off and Pick-Up will be located at the entrance to Acker Gym - 536 Warner St. Chico, CA 95926. Drop-Off anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Pick-Up anytime between 4:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Earlier pick-ups and later drop-offs can be arranged by contacting the office or letting a professional staff member know.
Lunch & Water
The fun of camp combined with summer weather will require campers to have lots of energy. We encourage families to pack healthy and nutritious snacks. If your camper is attending the full-day camp, please pack a healthy and nutritious lunch and snacks. Please be sure to pack a water bottle with your camper as well so they can stay hydrated throughout camp.
Registration for 2026 Camps Opens Monday, April 6th at 9:00 AM
Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis, and in order to reserve a spot the deposit (half the amount of each camp) must be paid.
