Transcript Requests

CSU, Chico contracts with the National Student Clearinghouse for official transcript orders.

Chico State is hoping to have Spring 2024 grades finalized no later than June 12th. By selecting “After Grades Are Posted” ensures that your final spring grades, repeats, honors, etc. are listed on your official transcript.

If you are currently scheduled to graduate Spring 2024 and wish to place a transcript order ahead of grades/degrees being finalized, you may select “After Degree is Awarded” and our team will process your order once your degree is awarded.

CSU, Chico's online ordering process is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), a non-profit organization serving the higher education community. More information on NSC is available at in new window).

If you wish to pay with check or money order

Mail a completed Official Transcript Request Form (PDF) to CSU, Chico. This completed form may also be delivered to our office: SSC 110.

* Portal accounts are only available for students enrolled after Summer 2004.

Unofficial Transcript Requests

If you attended CSU, Chico in any term after Summer 2004, you may use the Portal(opens in new window) to retrieve academic information. Unofficial Transcript Requests are also available in the lobby of the Office of the Registrar as an on-campus service.

  • A picture ID is required and requests must be ordered and picked up in person.
  • Typically requests can be processed while you wait, however, may take up to 24 hours during our busier times, such as the start and end of semester.
  • There is a $ 2.00 fee for each transcript.
  • Unofficial transcripts not picked up within 30 days from the date of scheduled pickup will be destroyed. No refund will be provided.

Disclaimer: The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).
