About Internal Grants
Internal grant funds are available to CSU Chico faculty to support original research, scholarship and creative activities, and are intended to foster continuing disciplinary professional growth, productivity, and achievement.
Sources of Funds
Funds for the different internal grants programs are derived from different sources, including the CSU Chancellor's Office and CSU Chico Division of Academic Affairs (Provost), among others.
Internal Grants Portal
The web-based Internal Grants Portal(opens in new window) provides faculty an easy-to-use system to apply for internal research grants at Chico State. The portal includes application instructions (including eligibility requirements), required application documents, and online grant submittal.
The application period for the Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities (RSCA) grant is closed for 2024 applications. For the 2025 cycle, please look for an Employee Announcement email and direct emails early spring 2025.
