In order to be considered for positions with Chico State Enterprises, it is necessary to apply for a specific position during a stated recruitment period and follow the stated procedures and closing dates. Each announcement lists the required application materials in “How to Apply”. Chico State Enterprises does not maintain mailing lists for job announcements.

Some Positions Require a Supplemental Application in addition to the Employment Application

Be sure you have reviewed all requirements and have included all requested application materials when you submit your application. Before submitting your application, please review it carefully for accuracy and completeness. Attention to detail is essential. Poor grammar, spelling errors, and/or incomplete fields may adversely affect the consideration of your application for employment.  Incomplete application packets will not be considered.

Applications must be submitted by the date and time listed on each position announcement. Applications received after the closing date  will not be considered. It is the applicant's responsibility to allow adequate delivery time.

After the closing date, all complete and qualified applications are forwarded to the search committee for further consideration. In most cases, this process takes approximately two to three weeks to complete. Applicants determined to be most qualified for the position will be contacted for an interview. Before making a formal job offer, reference checks, background investigation and fingerprinting may be conducted. The search committee makes a recommendation to the hiring authority who then forwards the decision to Human Resources.

The employer is Chico State Enterprises, a private non-profit corporation serving as an auxiliary organization of California State University, Chico. Employment with Chico State Enterprises is considered at will.
