Graduate Academic Program Review
Academic Program Review (APR) at the graduate level is designed to provide faculty and administrators an opportunity to reflect on graduate education at California State University, Chico. The review process also provides a framework for quality management in our program offerings and related educational activities.
The entire process, from start to finish, spans 18 months, which allows for report writing, review by the dean, external review (if approved), consultation with the Graduate Council, etc. A timeline for the Graduate Program Review Process can be found here (PDF). To make the report writing more succinct and straightforward, we have recently revised the report template (DOC). Your feedback is welcome.
Graduate Studies staff is here to support you in this process, including supplying relevant data. Please reach out to Susan Roll, Associate Dean, with questions and for consultation.
