Jenna (she/hers) was born in Sacramento and raised predominately in Oklahoma. She attended The University of Oklahoma where she found her passion for working with college students during her three year stint as a Resident Advisor, and she received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master’s in Human Relations. Jenna then moved to Texas and worked as a Residence Hall Director at Sam Houston State University for the next two years. CSU, Sacramento became Jenna’s next home where she worked as a Residence Life Coordinator for three years. Jenna then found her home with Chico State in 2016 taking a position as a Residence Conduct Coordinator. Jenna served in that role for two years before being promoted to the Senior Coordinator for Conduct and Compliance and is now serving as the Associate Director of Residential Life where she is happily serving the students since Fall 2021.
Jenna has a true passion for working in student housing and helping students learn and grow from their mistakes. Social justice and equity work are very important to her and she strives to infuse these values into all she does. You can find Jenna around Chico playing board games and trivia, going to garage sales and the farmers market, at the movies, or at the roller rink!
