Residence Hall Resources

  • Residence Conduct Coordinator
    Residence Conduct Coordinator (RCC) is a professional student affairs staff member who lives in each building and is responsible for the support and development of residents who enter into our conduct process. The RCC also co-supervises the Resident Advisors.
  • Residence Life Coordinator

    Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) is a professional student affairs staff member who lives in each building and is responsible for the 24 hour front desks, roommate agreement, and Community Council. The RLC also co-supervises the Resident Advisors.

  • Resident Advisor

    Resident Advisors (RAs) live alongside residents in each community. These peer advisors are available to support residents through their transition to college, build a strong community through conversations and weekly interaction, and they monitor and enforce housing policies.

  • Desk Assistant

    Desk Attendants (DAs) are student staff who work at our community front desks. These staff are available to check out games or supplies such as vacuums.

B-Line Bus

The B-Line provides bus service to areas in Chico, Paradise and Oroville. CSU, Chico students may use the B Line free of charge by showing a valid Wildcat ID card to the driver. Schedules are available at the customer service desk in the Wildcat Bookstore. You can get on the bus at the Transit Center at Second and Salem Street

University Village Shuttle

A free shuttle bus to and from the core of campus and the University Farm is also available. The Fall bus schedule is coming soon. Please make sure that you are aware of the changes and how they will impact your arrival to campus/farm. 

Lockouts & Charge Info

If you are locked out of your room, the front desk will help you. Your first 2 lockouts are free. Your 3rd and 4th lockout will result in $10 charge to your student account. After your 5th lockout you will receive a charged $32 charge to your student account.

Room Changes

Beginning September 1, 2020, reassignment may once again be requested via the Resident Center:

  • Click “Requests” on the bar across the top of the screen
  • Select “Request Reassignment”

If space is available that meets your housing needs and eligibility, you can be reassigned. Please take the time to consider if a reassignment is truly what you want, you will only be allowed to submit one request and no changes to the request will be allowed. After submitting the reassignment request, the student will then be contacted by a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC).

Maintenance Service Request

 To create a service Request follow the following steps:


Students will receive a wash card upon Move-In.

Washer and dryers are located in each community.

Cards can be reloaded at each residence hall, or through the phone app. 

Bicycle Registration

Register your bike with the City of Chico.  We highly recommend doing this.
