About the Meal Plan

Meal plans are required and added to the total annual cost of the room.

Where is the Meal Plan Used?

Éstom Jámani Residential Dining Center and Wildcat Den

All meals on the meal plans can only be used in the residential dining center or at Wildcat Den.

Unused Meals Expire

Leftover meal swipes do not roll over to the next semester.  Any unused meals will expire at the end of each semester. Additional semester meals can be purchased in 25 Meal Plan blocks, if needed, during the semester. We recommend waiting until you are down to only 10 remaining meal swipes before purchasing more meals. To order additional meal blocks, Purchase a Meal Plan(opens in new window) (This link will take you to a form that says "Purchase a Meal Plan." Please note this is the correct form and you are able to select the 25 additional meal swipes at the bottom of the form under "Residents Additional Swipes")

Flex Cash rolls over to the next semester if there is a remaining balance.

To check the remaining balance of your meal swipes and Flex Cash, visit CS Gold.(opens in new window)

Flex Cash, ReDD, & Wildcat Dollars

Flex Cash

Flex Cash can be used at the two on-campus coffee shops, two on-campus convenience stores, the food-court style eatery called the Marketplace in the BMU and campus food trucks! Flex cash comes with your residential meal plan.  Any unused Flex Cash at the end of the fall term rollover to the spring term.  Unused Flex Cash does expire at the end of the academic year.

Campus Coffee Shops & Convenience Stores

ReDD

After your Flex cash has been spent, Associated Students Dining Services offers a Retail Dining Dollar program (ReDD) that can be placed on a student's Wildcat card and can be used at the two on-campus coffee shops, two on-campus convenience stores, or the food-court style eatery called the Marketplace in the BMU.

Unlike Flex cash, ReDD does not expire at the end of the academic year and rolls forward for as long as you are a student. For details about ReDD, please contact Associated Students Dining Services at 530-898-5962.

Wildcat Dollars

In addition to ReDD, you can also purchase Wildcat dollars. Wildcat dollars can be used in locations where ReDD is accepted as well as the bookstore, the stockrooms, and the labs. Parents and relatives can purchase the Wildcat dollars for you.
