Cara Huyck
Residence Life Coordinator
Cara Huyck grew up in Bakersfield, California before moving to Chico State for school in 2016. While receiving her degree in Agricultural Business she was active in the Housing Department working as a Resident Advisor, Desk Attendant, and Senior Desk Attendant. Through these experiences she found a love for working in Higher Education and Residence Life.
After her time in Chico, Cara moved to San Diego where she worked in the housing department at UCSD. She is excited to be back at her alma mater and to serve as the Residence Life Coordinator in Sutter Hall. Cara is looking forward to supporting her Resident Advisors and the Community Council in building a strong community in the Residence Halls.
In her free time Cara enjoys competitive games of Skip-Bo, playing volleyball, and reading!
