    • Mechoopda Hall is a mixed gender community. The first floor has a male wing on one side and female wing on the other side. The second floor of the building are mixed genders, with a men and women’s bathroom on one side of the floor.
    • Esken Hall is a mixed gender community. The first floor has a male wing on one side and female wing on the other side. The second floor of the building are mixed genders, with a men and women’s bathroom on one side of the floor.

Nika Battle is a first-generation college graduate from Chattanooga, TN. She graduated with a B.A. in Communication from Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. During her time at Salem, she was a resident advisor for three years and was heavily involved in theatre. Following graduation, she worked as a Residence Hall Director at Greensboro College for two years before earning her graduate degree in Higher Education from Elon University in Elon, NC. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog and watching horror movies. She is passionate about supporting students and enjoys helping them cultivate wellness while in college.

Alexis King has been working since 2016 as a Resident Conduct Coordinator for Chico State in a variety of communities.  She currently oversees North Campus; Esken, Mechoopda, and Konkow Halls. She received a Bachelors's degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo and her Masters degree from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Alexis is passionate about personal and professional growth when working with her students.  She shares that her role is to support residents, the community, and staff development.  She is often seen at events within and outside the community.  Alexis engages with her staff and residents outside of her office in board games and is happy to chat about any comic books, pop culture, or science fiction novels.
