Brooke Blankenship
Hello! My name is Brooke Blankenship. I grew up in Salinas, California on the central coast. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology that I received from San Jose State. I recently moved to Chico in August 2023 to go to Chico State for the Marriage and Family Therapy program. As someone who is newer to the area, I want to become more involved in the community. I am passionate about helping others, specifically those with mental health or behavioral issues. I have experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and children in the foster care system. My goal is to use and expand my skills to help students do their very best. I want to use my role as an Academic Coach to help other students balance all aspects of student life including school, work, self-care, extracurriculars, and more. Outside of school and work I enjoy exercising, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
