Student/Faculty Liaison

Students are strongly encouraged to notify their instructors that they are registered with Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) at the beginning of each semester, or as soon as they are approved for accommodations. Customizing accommodations via ARC Go! each semester verifies that students are receiving services from ARC, enabling discussion about their accommodation needs.

  • If disability-related access issues occur in the classroom, students should first try to solve the issue with their instructor.
  • If approaching the instructor directly does not result in reasonable access, the student may contact their Accessibility Advisor to assist with the process. Accessibility Advisors can discuss strategies with students regarding how to approach instructors with access issues.
  • If an issue cannot be satisfactorily resolved, the student may discuss the situation with Student Rights and Responsibilities(opens in new window).
