Treatment of Minors
Minors (under age 18) will be seen at the WellCat Health Center after one of the following has been determined:
1. Emancipated minor - previously married, Armed Forces or Declaration of Emancipation.
2. Parent or guardian consents for treatment.
3. Self-sufficient minor - age 15 or older; not living with a parent/guardian; and managing their own financial affairs, regardless of the source of their income (manage own check book).
4. Seen for family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, drug abuse, or an urgent situation which could lead to serious disability or death.
