Educational Opportunity Program Grant (EOPG)
FAFSA/CADAA Priority Deadline:
2026-27: The FAFSA and CADAA are now open! Apply early and definitely by the March 2, 2026 Priority Deadline.
2025-26: You can still apply for limited funding even though the California priority deadline has passed.
The EOPG is a state grant awarded only to undergraduate students who have been admitted to Chico State through the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) admission process and who are eligible for need-based aid. EOPG awards range from $200 to $2000 per year. Because of limited funding, newly admitted students receive priority. If you are a continuing EOP student, you will be considered for EOPG renewal as long as you submit your FAFSA or CADAA by the priority date listed above and continue to be eligible for need-based aid as determined by the FAFSA.
