January 2: Wildcat Scholarship Application opens
February 15: Wildcat Scholarship Application closes
March 2:
- FAFSA or CADAA deadline to be considered for need-based Wildcat Scholarships
- GPA verification deadline for California Student Aid Commission (CSAC)
May 2: FAFSA or CADAA priority deadline to be considered for California state grants including Cal Grant and Middle Class Scholarship
May 13:Federal Direct Loan application and Parent Plus Loan application open
June 1:
- Priority deadline to submit To-Do list documents
- Consortium Requests and Enrollment Update Form(opens in new window) available
June 3: Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal and Maximum Unit Appeal available
July 1: Special Circumstances Appeals - Open date delayed until July 1 due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not able to make changes or corrections to your financial aid until Federal Student Aid allows schools to make changes, starting in July. We are very sorry for the delay.
July 8: Alternative Private Educational Loan priority deadline
July 19: Parent PLUS loan and Federal Direct Loan priority deadline
August 15: Registration and tuition fee payment deadline. Aid must be accepted to defer fees. Deadline has been extended to August 15 for students who have filed a 2024-25 FAFSA or CADAA.
August 22: Financial aid refunds begin. Financial aid refunded to students enrolled for the fall term. To receive a financial aid refund, students must have excess aid after tuition fees have been paid and no pending holds or 2024-25 To-Do list items.
August 26:
- Fall semester begins
- Short-term Loans available
September 5: First possible refund for students receiving Alternative loans
September 23:
- University Census: Awards reduced or canceled for less than full-time enrollment
- Submit a Satisfactory Academic Appeal or Maximum Unit Appeal by September 23 in order to allow sufficient time for processing
- Consortium Agreement deadline
November 1:
- Priority deadline to submit To-Do list documents
- Fall-only students submit Special Circumstances Appeal by November 1 to allow sufficient time for processing
December 1: Anticipated open date for 2025-26 FAFSA and CADAA
November 25: Federal Direct, PLUS and Alternative loan application deadline for fall-only students
December 17: Last day to apply for a Short-term Loan. Must submit application by 9 AM.
December 20: Fall semester ends

April 25: Last day to submit a Federal Direct Loan types-of-aid/loans/direct-loans, Parent PLUS Loan, and Private Alternative Loan application. Apply by 5 PM.
May 13: Deadline to apply for a Short-term Loan. Must submit application by 9 AM.
May 16: Spring semester ends
