Welcome to the College of Business

Message above the door of Kendall Hall that says

We prepare students to be work-ready.

Our faculty, staff, academic programs, and extracurricular activities all contribute to developing students to have the skills, knowledge, and dispositions for success.

A survey of recent graduates showed that 95.6% would recommend the College of Business. Respondents said:

“The College of Business did a fantastic job at preparing me for a professional career.”

“It was a great experience and definitely provided me with the tools I will need to be successful!”

Because most students live on or near campus, the program is able to emphasize hands-on, applied team projects. Our residential environment allows students to be deeply involved in co-curricular activities and participate in a variety of student organizations . Our students regularly showcase their abilities in regional competitions where they compete with peers from some of the most prestigious universities in the nation. These experiences build the skills and knowledge that employers are looking for and allow our students to be academically well-rounded and work-ready.

The College offers three degrees:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BADM)
  2. Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems (BSIS)
  3. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Within the BADM degree, students choose among seven options: Accounting; Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management; Finance; Human Resource Management; Management; Marketing; and Project Management, while the BS in Business Information Systems allows students to specialize in Management Information Systems or Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Our MBA program offers a general MBA degree, or students can specialize in Enterprise Information Systems or Project Management. Our Enterprise Information Systems option is a STEM-designated degree providing additional benefits to our graduates of that option. Additionally, students can pursue specialized knowledge by taking a set of courses from one of the College of Business’ numerous minors and certificates.

The College of Business gives students the skills they need to be meaningful contributors within the businesses and communities they serve.
